Ubersite - The Ultimate MS Paint: It Will Make You Cry
Great picture - you will definitely love this one. Amazing talent.

Snippet from the site:

This drawing was done entirely in MS Paint with a Logitech laser mouse. I did not use the copy and paste tool, or the text tool. There was no color sampling or pasting from other images, but I did view some seperate images as reference, as do most artists.

Angry Bond fans threaten to boycott film
Bond fans are angry!! They plan to protest British actor Daniel Craig replacing Pierce Brosnan in the 007 film franchise, and boycott the upcoming Bond movie "Casino Royale."
They have even created a website that is dedicated to that purpose --> http://www.craignotbond.com .

I must admit that prima facie, Daniel Craig does not look like what one would expect to see James Bond look like. Let's face it - Bond is supposed to be suave and handsome. Nothing personal against Mr. Craig, but he does not seem to possess those qualities. Lets see - maybe I will be proved wrong...

Using a Hosts File To Make The Internet Not Suck (as much)
Disclaimer: I have not used this hosts file myself. So please follow the information mentioned on the site at your own risk.

A snippet from the site:
"This is an easy and effective way to protect you from many types of spyware, reduces bandwidth use, blocks certain pop-up traps, prevents user tracking by way of "web bugs" embedded in spam, provides partial protection to IE from certain web-based exploits and blocks most advertising you would otherwise be subjected to on the internet. Students for a Free Tibet : No Luv 4 Google
A site that is protesting Google's selling out to the Chinese Government. Google blocks access to information sensitive to the Chinese authorities (like truth) --> it censors all sites that the Chinese high command dislikes.
Many other companies have sold out to the Chinese government (Yahoo, Microsoft, etc.) at some point or the other. Perhaps the reason people are more angry because they expected more from Google. "Do no evil" is Google's motto. But alas, it looks like a slogan is just a slogan....

Poem: The Cold Within
By James Patrick Kinney. Text reproduced here ...

The Cold Within
Six humans trapped by happenstance
in black and bitter cold
Each possessed a stick of wood,
Or so the story's told.

Their dying fire in need of logs,
the first woman held hers back
For on the faces around the fire
She noticed one was black.

The next man looking 'cross the way
Saw one not of his church
And couldn't bring himself to give
The fire his stick of birch.

The third one sat in tattered clothes
He gave his coat a hitch,
Why should his log be put to use
To warm the idle rich?

The rich man just sat back and thought
Of the wealth he had in store,
And how to keep what he had earned
From the lazy, shiftless poor.

The black man's face bespoke revenge
As the fire passed from his sight,
For all he saw in his stick of wood
Was a chance to spite the white.

And the last man of this forlorn group
Did naught except for gain,
Giving only to those who gave
Was how he played the game.

The logs held tight in death's stilled hands
Was proof of human sin,
They didn't die from the cold without,
They died from the cold within.
